If you would like oat flakes, we recommend usingso-called naked oats, to avoid possible bitterness.

Fresh oat flakes should be eaten as quickly as possible, because due to their high fat content, oat flakes can become bitter after soaking.

Other grains such as wheat, rye, barley, etc. shouldbe soaked for about 4 hours after being crushed in the FlicFloc. This way, the minerals are more readily available for the human metabolism.

What can you crush in the FlicFloc? Oats, rye, wheat, buckwheat, millet, barley, spelt,rice, sesame, linseed and poppy, but also spices such ascaraway and fennel can be processed.
